You may remember I mentioned a wedding of two charming scientists that I worked on a little while ago. Well that lovely couple, Sonia and Paul, have since sent me some fab photos of their special day taken by the very talented Christina Brosnan. The wedding took place in Kilshane House and it quite literally brought me home. I grew up in Tipperary town, a few miles from the venue and had (indoor) camped in Kilshane as a kid when it was a neglected and unloved old building - many years prior to its fabulous restoration.Setting up the florals that morning in the orangery was such a reflective and enjoyable experience. Memories of innocent late night sniggering in paper-thin sleeping bags came flooding back. But that was then. Long gone are the dark corridors and torch wielding pre-teens. These days it's a lovingly restored Regency house back to its former glory.
Huge congrats to Sonia and Paul on their beautiful wedding. Enjoy.
